The Women’s Giving Circle of Howard County is governed by the Advisory Board, a group of up to 22 members, selected from among the donors to The Women’s Giving Circle.

The Advisory Board is responsible for WGC’s management and operations. The officers and committee chairpersons are selected from within the Advisory Board.

In 2001, the 16 Founders of the WGC spent a year launching the giving circle.
