  • "To set goals and tackle them!"

  • "Because I can't tell my daughters that they can accomplish anything they set their minds to if I don't give it an hard, honest TRI myself !"
  • "To inspire my 3 daughters and my son!"
  • "To help ease into my mid-life crisis!"
  • "To swim, bike & run with amazing, fun & strong women!"

The WGC's Circle Team was created to support the Women's Giving Circle's (WGC) efforts to fund programs that benefit women and girls and to inspire others to maintain an active, healthy lifestyle.  Since its inception in 2006, the WGC's Circle Team has raised over $80,000. The WGC's Circle Team competes in various community races, with the Iron Girl Triathlon being its flagship event.

2011 WGC Circle Team Goals:

  • To run, bike and/or swim to inspire giving
  • To model a healthy active lifestyle
  • To challenge women and girls to push themselves physically and philanthropically to the benefit of their community
  • To empower women and girls
