WGC's Barb Van Winkle Keynotes BWGC Donor Forum Event

On May 5, 2025 WGC's Barb Van Winkle was the Keynote Speaker at the Baltimore Women’s Giving Circle's Forum on "Engaging the Next Generation of Female Donors".

As Barb stated, "I am so excited to be with you this morning to talk about one of my favorite subjects - the power of women’s giving, and in particular, how we are engaging the next generation of female donors."

She discussed information on women’s collective giving - not just here in the greater Baltimore region, but across our country and beyond, and how powerful this movement is.
She highlighted how women's philanthropy is democratizing and changing the face of philanthropy and how it will be the next generation of women donors who will lead how women’s increasing philanthropic dollars are allocated for the change they want to see.
And, she spotlighted data and background information about women’s philanthropy that applies to the engagement of women donors, and in particular, the next generation.

It is important for us to be there for one another to talk about our successes and challenges in our region, and on the national stage through our work on the Board of Philanos".
