4 Distinct Ways to Give
grow
What?
Since our founding, the WGC has proactively offered a variety of ways to give.
That decision was intentional: we welcome members from diverse economic backgrounds and want everybody to feel welcome and empowered as part of our community.
Giving Circles provide a unique, meaningful, and powerful way to amplify the impact of donations large and small.
So What?
There are four distinct ways for you to give to further our ability to meet the pressing needs of local women and girls.
Community Member
As a Community Member, you can give any amount to support one of a variety of options, all available via a simple dropdown menu, including:
It takes a special individual or business to understand the value of investing in women and girls by sponsoring the WGC's 20th Anniversary Year overall, which includes our signature March 8, 2022 Virtual Annual Celebration and our WGC "Pink" Party in the Park Outdoor Birthday Celebration on June 15, 2022.
Sponsoring our 20th Anniversary Year is a meaningful way to support the WGC, and thus women and girls in Howard County. We have a number of sponsorship levels and will be honored to highlight your name/business/logo on our website, on our social media pages, in our eNewsletter, and before, during and after events. Thank you to our sponsors to date!
WGC Legacy Member
Planned Giving programs—sometimes called gift planning, deferred giving, or legacy giving—help donors make plans to leave money or assets to nonprofits at a future date, both during their lifetimes and after death. There are many forms of planned giving, but the most common are bequests, charitable gift annuities, and charitable remainder trusts.
WGC Big Give Member
Newly launched as part of the WGC’s 20th Anniversary Year, the Big Give offers a unique opportunity for those who want to learn more about grantmaking to women and girls through hands-on, experiential learning. Individuals and teams of up to four women are invited to take part in this inaugural program.

Whether through the Emergency Response Network, the Young Women’s Giving Circle (now Youth in Philanthropy), or as a sponsor for our annual celebration, there are ways to personalize my giving experience and make it my own.” - Lee Draminski
