WGC's Impact 2024 Campaign
Impact 2024 is WGC’s five-year, $500,000 fundraising effort and focus on diversity, equity and inclusion for women in Howard County that was launched in July 2019.
Since 2019 we have been fundraising to build on our past and enhance our future by increasing our grantmaking to programs that benefit women and girls, as well as strengthening our infrastructure to grow the circle. And, we have been enhancing our core values to better meet our mission by implementing a diversity, equity and inclusion lens to all of our work.

- Give More Grants: We have increased our ability to give larger, multi-year grants to more of our nonprofit partners that share our goals.
- Strengthen Our Infrastructure: We have strengthened our infrastructure to build WGC for the future.
- Focus on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion: We have enhanced our core values to better meet our mission by implementing a diversity, equity and inclusion lens throughout every aspect of our work.
WGC Impact 2024 Update:
- Impact 2024 was launched in July 2019 as WGC’s five-year, $500,000 fundraising campaign and commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI).
- The campaign began in 2019 with 40 Impact 2024 Founding Donors helping to kick-off the campaign to fund our exciting new effort – we can’t thank this generous group of donors enough for their investment to get us started with donations and/or pledges totaling approximately $75,000.
- And, we are grateful to all WGC members who have given to support the WGC overall since our launch date – all donations that have come in since July 2019 are part of Impact 2024.
- To date, as we enter 2024, we have exceeded our goal and have raised over $510,000+ of our $500,000 goal!
- We look forward to continuing our collective efforts through the end of 2024 - thank you for joining us!
