October 17, our Young Women’s Giving Circle will participate in Know Your Flow, a free menstrual health workshop they helped fund and shape through their 2026 Mini Give grant.
October 22, we're partnering with others in our community for Thriving Through Midlife: A Community Conversation about Women's Health, focusing on an area WGC has supported through our grantmaking.
November 17, as a fund of the Community Foundation of Howard County, we'll proudly support the Annual Dinner & Celebration of Philanthropy and celebrate WGC Advisory Board member Mary Jordan as Business Philanthropist of the Year
December 19, our Young Women's Giving Circle will host its Period Product Drive to provide essential products to girls in our community.

Thriving Through Midlife: A Community Conversation about Women's Health

Please join us for a medical and wellness panel, roundtable conversations and resource stations to learn more about navigating perimenopause, menopause, post-menopause and your midlife health decisions. Co-hosted by the Howard County Office on Aging and Independence, Howard County Commission for Women, the Women’s Giving Circle of Howard County, Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center, and St John Baptist Church, the event is free and open to all. WGC’s events support our mission of creating a community of philanthropists and are designed for women around the issues we focus on through our membership and development. We bring women together to learn about issues impacting women and girls in our community, and pool our dollars to fund programs that address those issues so we can have a greater impact together than we might otherwise have alone.
