"I joined the Harriet Tubman Foundation in 2002. I felt that the story of the Harriet Tubman High School should be told.
Many people were unaware of the history of the Harriet Tubman High School. When the building is completed, the story will be shared with the community."

Bessie Bordenave is a Howard County treasure. She not only preserves a legacy of educations excellence, but also gives tirelessly to uplifting the youth of our community.
