On Sunday, January 6 we had a wonderful WGC-Hosted Event, “Making Waves” by Rissa Miller at Kittamaqundi Community Church.

This script-in-hand reading of the play in partnership with Try it Out Theatre was well attended and we had a lively discussion after the play about women in the workplace that touches on salary disparity, sex-based discrimination, and the #metoo movement.

Thank you to Malynda and Rich Madzel for partnering with us. Thanks also to Steve and Patti Wecker and Vince Culotta, owners of CURED and 18th & 21st restaurants for their ongoing support and for providing attendees with coupons for brunch or lunch!
